I am such a binky person that I really don't know what to think of this. Gracie will totally pacify herself in the night, and can often go 8-10 hours at night, with her thumb in her mouth. There are a couple of reasons why I do not like the thumb. First is that I can't control it, or take it away when the time is right (I am extremely liberal with pacifiers and let my kids have them for sleep until they are 3, at which point it has been very easy to take it away). I am not too worried about her teeth, I will let Dave worry about that. My other reason is competely silly and shallow. I like pacifiers (B's as we call them). Not that I like them exactly, but I like to collect them. I have had a few for quite a few years, and even had a couple of rare Mams sent to me from Germany by a friend there, along with a Haba pacifier clip(red and pink wood heart beads). I have tried many times to get Gracie to take a B, and am about to give up...... She does look quite adorable with her little thumb in.

That is pretty cute! I have never had a thumbsucker. I think its cute, but I hear it's a hard habit to break! Parker is definately a binky baby. It's funny how they know what they want right from the start!
Meili is a thumb sucker- I LOVE IT!!! She has slept so well because of it. And it is so dang cute. I am a bink lover too. I completely know how you feel- but I am a lover of the thumb now.
So cute! Must have been something in the water when we were all pregnant, because Corbin is a thumb-sucker too!
